We are finally winding down enough from a great Carnival season to make an update. We have been going non-stop at the shop. Happy King's Day!

It's is that time again here in New Orleans. Twelfth Night! Time to kick off another Carnival season. Time to go get yourself a king cake (Mmm... King cake,) a costume and hold on tight for this whirlwind season we call Mardi Gras.

Helping us kick off this season are the krewe of the Phunny Phorty Phellows with their traditional ride down the historic St. Charles Streetcar line.

Today the city is also having a parade to celebrate the "600th" birthday of Joan of Arc.

 One of New Orleans' favorite non football playing Saints.

At the shop we are gearing up to have the store stocked and ready for all

of your carnival costume and party supply needs.

New Years!

It's that time of year again. Time to say goodbye to 2011 and welcome 2012 with open arms. Well, most of us will at least! I guess it depends on if you think the world is suffering from impending doom! Wait until you see  the new party supplies they are rolling out for 2012. "Party Like There Is No To-Maya" is the theme. Might as well make the best of it! Whatever you believe, we here at the shop wish you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
