We have been busy working on some amazing new costumes for the shop! We proudly give you our line of ladies' costumes we like to call 1912. So far it consists of one of a kind evening gowns and hats. Next we will bring you a variety of day wear.
First up in our line is a tribute to the Titanic. April 10th marked 100 years since the ill fated luxury liner set sail on it's maiden voyage. Being the history fanatics we are around here we've decided to remember this historic anniversary with gowns befitting any lady who wished to wear the latest fashion as a first class passenger aboard the Titanic.

Here are a few hats we whipped up to accompany the gowns. Each one was handmade in the shop and is an original design.
Going with our Titanic theme we had a fun project day and transformed our window with what we could find in the store to make it look like the top deck of the ship. We also got a little goofy and made an iceberg to loom in the background. You know, just in case no one got it. All day long the jokes were about how it sunk because the railings were made from PVC pipe and life rings made of Styrofoam...........

Judith in a Perils of Pauline style scenario. How will she escape the sinking ship? Be sure to tune in next week to find out. |
